Scoop the Cotton Balls

Nothing needs to be bought for this game. All the materials are available in everyone’s house. No prior arrangement has to be done. The things that are required are cotton balls, two large sized bowls and large spoon.

The participants have to very patient and play carefully to be successful in this game. At first one of the two large bowls is to be filled with cotton balls. This bowl filled with cotton balls is then to be placed on the lap of one of the guests in the baby shower party.

The other bowl is to be placed on the head of the guest. The person has to hold the bowl on his/her head with one of his/her hands. The host may also help in balancing the bowl on the head. The participant is then blinded with a piece of paper wrapped around his/her eyes.

He/she has to be provided with a spoon. The cotton balls in the bowl on the lap are to be scooped with the spoon and then to be placed in the bowl balanced on the head. A time limit is to be fixed. The number of balls scooped is to be counted.

One by one all the guests try their luck in scooping and placing the cotton balls from and to the bowls respectively on their laps and heads within the given time limit. The person, who will scoop the maximum number of balls, is the winner and he/she gets a prize.
